Alice Windsor
“Hey, Ally... Do you really think you can't be loved?”

A bright young woman who's always on the move and frequently gets involved in as many activities as possible. She doesn't have a lot of free time as a result, but she has fun with her extracurriculars, so she considers it a fair enough trade. Her time with the Chess Club (and its moonlight companion, The Blossom Society) is the closest she gets to "relaxing" at all in her life.
Appearance
A thin, long-legged young woman with naturally brown hair and a blonde ombre dyejob; her hair goes a little ways down her back. When she's doing sports, she puts her hair up in a high ponytail to keep it out of her face. She likes wearing different hair decs every day, favoring white flower-shaped ones. Alice doesn't have any visibly identifying marks, and her skin is kept nice and clear with a strict diet and skincare routine.Like most of The Blossom Society save Charlotte, Alice doesn't wear her school uniform as she should, though her modifications are less extreme than Lynn's are. She wears a sports jacket around her waist all year and a pair of white sneakers; she tends to toss all of her things into her athletics duffel bag, though she has a separate, smaller bag in it that contains all of her first aid and cosmetics. Her nails are usually painted too, courtesy of Lynn, more often in cooler shades.
Outside of school, Alice's state of dress is sporty and colorful, with a lot of minty greens thrown into the mix. While she looks like a model, she definitely doesn't dress like one, preferring to wear whatever she likes the look of and finds comfortable rather than what looks good on her—it's a quality of hers that drives Matilda up the wall. She's also the type of person who runs hot no matter the weather, so she's comfortable wearing shorts in the winter.
Personality
The only daughter of a pair of workaholics, Alice Windsor has inherited their penchant for keeping busy, and for holding herself and others to high standards. Due to her knack for picking up anything and everything if it looks interesting or worthwhile enough, she comes off as a little aloof—it probably isn't wrong to say that she is, though she's generally well-meaning and nice when spoken to. While she doesn't have as big of a fanclub as Emily does, there's a surprising amount of girls at school who find her cool and admirable. Despite her friendliness, Alice is a very private person, passing most things in her life off as not important for other people to know and changing topics when things get too heavy, or finding some way to answer questions about her life flippantly; even her long-time friend, Sophie, admits she doesn't know as much about Alice as she feels like she should. It's a trait she shares with Emily, though she's much more private than the other girl, going so far as to not even talk about her family whenever possible.History
A former model, Alice left the runway when her flowersickness starting acting up in the wake of a crush on a fellow star of the runway. Since then, she's lived a quiet, normal, if busy, life as a student of the Tillman Institute.Flower Motifs & Meanings

"Unrequited love, the sun is always shining when I'm with you."
Relationships
- Family Alice and her parents have a distant relationship; if pressed, she'd say she loves them, but in reality she hardly recognizes them as parents and usually refers to them by first name when speaking about them.
- Matilda Maddock The moon to Alice's sun, Matilda keeps her on track when necessary but indulges her need to talk about make-up and fashion with someone happily. They often go shopping together, and if Alice ever pauses to look at a flyer too longer, Matilda never comments on it.
- Lynn Powell Energetic and full of adoration, Alice finds Lynn charming if a bit much at times. She doesn't like how sharp Lynn can be though, nor how forceful she is when she really wants to know something; that pickiness of hers is the trait Alice hates the most.
- Sophie Rickett Essentially her childhood friend; Alice tutored Sophie when she was younger to help her keep up with her studies in school, and she still helps her out even now from time to time. They're a lot like family, down to joking about charging interest on tutoring sessions thanks to Alice's actual part-time work as one.
- Emily Rause One of the girls Alice feels closest with, due to their shared desire for privacy. They talk about superficial things in superficial ways, and Alice is more than content with that.
- Charlotte Barnsburry Her new pet project; Alice thinks she looks like a real life doll and loves to dress her up and put all kinds of make-up styles on her. Charlotte's desire to be closer with her gets on Alice's nerves a little, but it's usually easy to dodge the issue with a little teasing.
Trivia
- Alice is the tallest of The Blossom Society, something that gives her equal amounts of joy and despair.
- Her favorite fashion designer is Betsey Johnson; she admires how true-to-herself Johnson's fashion stays despite the ever-changing trends.
- She has a horse named Summer.
